UTKAL ALUMINA ORGANISED MULTISPECIALTY HEALTH CAMP

Bhubaneswar/Tikiri:In it’s relentless pursuit towards community health and wellbeing of this region, Utkal Alumina International limited, a subsidiary of HindalcoIndustries limited of Aditya Birla Grouphas organized a Multispecialty Health Camp on 05thOct 2023, at Nuagaon Village of Maikanch GP of Kashipurblock in association with Punaruthan Voluntary Organisation.
Providing speciality health care services to the villagerswho were unable to access these services due to remoteness and financial incapability was the major purpose of this program.
Around 719 patients from 36 peripheral villages of Utkal Alumina have availed the service of Multispecialty Health Camp with specialist treatment services in Eye care, Gynaecology, Skins, Paediatric & Medicines. The patient availed free of cost medical consultation, medicines, and referral services to higher medicals for further treatment.
The event was attended by specialist doctors, community leaders, medical personnels, government officers, police personnel and officials of Utkal Alumina.
The inaugural event was graced by Dr. Arindam Roychoudhury, Head Utkal Medical Services, Ms. Lopamudra Mishra, Head CSR & CR Utkal Alumina, specialist doctors from various speciality along with community opinion leaders Mr. Kishore Dishari & Mr. MastaramPujhari. Mr. Manoj Das, Department Head CSR Mines coordinated the event along with Mines CSR team of Utkal Alumina.
Lopamudra Mishra, Head- CSR, CR& Sustainability addressed the gathering and emphasized the commitment of Utkal Alumina towards the health and wellbeing of the community of this region.
Mr. Mazhar Beig, Unit Head Utkal Alumina expressed his heartfelt thanksto the medical service providers, volunteers, community members and opinion leaders who have joined their hands with Utkal Alumina in making this event a successful one.
