Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan meets cinestar Uttam Mohanty in Gurugram Hospital
New Delhi : Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan visited cine star Uttam Mohanty at Medanta Hospital in Gurugram where is undergoing treatment. He enquired about the actor’s health and wished him speedy recovery.
Minister Pradhan talked with actor Babushaan and assured him that all kinds of support will be provided for the treatment. Ollywood actor Uttam Mohanty was airlifted to Gurugram for further treatment.
He had gone to a film shooting during which he complained of health issues. After that he was rushed to a private hospital in Bhubaneswar. And in the same evening he was airlifted from Bhubaneswar airport to Gurugram. For his airlifting, a green corridor was maintained from the hospital to the Bhubaneswar airport.
Recovery messages poured in from actors of Ollywood for his speedy recovery. A heart throb in his youthful days, Uttam Mohanty was the only Odia actor to have received the State award for Best actor for three consecutive years of 1982, 1983 and 1984. He is also a recipient of Jaydev award in 1999.
