Berhampur,07/12/23:Thursday Berhampur Sadar Police arrested Two for assaulted due to strong jealousy and ill feeling in the mind.
The duo identified as ; 1. Surya Narayan Sahu @ Babu (31), S/O Late Subash Chandra Sahu of Ist. Gate,Digapahandi Road, PS. Bada Bazar and Soumya Ranjan Samantray @ Babulu (31), S/O Santosh Kumar Samantray of Ramachandra Pur, PS. Gopalpur.
According to police one Kalia Gouda, S/O Bishnu Gouda of Padarabali, was working as a auto driver since 2016 under accused Surya Narayan Sahu who had a poultry farm.
In 2019 Kalia Gouda left the job. This annoyed the accused Surya Narayan Sahu. Recently Kalia Gouda opened a chicken shop at Padarbali Chhaka. Due to this there was strong jealousy and ill feeling in the mind of accused Surya Narayan Sahu and Soumya Ranjan Samantray. They called Kalia Gouda over phone with a promise to supply chicken at a low rate to him.
On 05.12.2023 at 05.30 PM Kalia Gouda went to the poultry farm of the accused persons and after reaching the poultry farm both the accused persons assaulted with a Kati causing bleeding head injury.
Kalia Gouda escaped from the poultry farm to his house and narrated the story to his family. Family members took the injured Kalia Gouda to Kukudakhandi medical and then MKCG medical and reported at PS for taking legal action.
Against the case No-584, dtd. 05.12.2023 U/S 341/294/323/324/307/506/34 IPC ,both accused person apprehended and the weapon of offence ; one Kati was seized from the possession of accused Surya Narayan Sahu.
Today both Suryanarayana Sahu & Soumy Ranjan Samantray were arrested on and forwarded to Hon’ble court.
