Two Tug Vessels Arrested at Paradip Port Over Rs. 428 Crore Maritime Dispute

Paradip: Two tug vessels, Ocean Jade and Ocean Morganite, were arrested at Paradip Port following a commercial dispute linked to a Rs. 428 crore claim.
The arrest was executed in compliance with the High Court’s directives and in the presence of Kujanga Sub-Judge Chinmayee Panda.
The case pertains to a legal claim by Alphard Maritime Limited over the sale and purchase of seven tug vessels. The company sought the immediate detention of the two vessels as they were passing near Paradip Port.
As per the court’s orders, the vessels have been moved to the port’s anchorage, where they will remain until the next hearing on April 30.
