TWO MINOR GIRLS DIED AFTER THEY DROWNED DURING BATH IN A POND IN GANJAM

GANJAM,(Khalikote):Two minor girls died after they drowned while taking bath in a pond at Tulasipur village in Khallikote area of Ganjam district.
The deceased minor girls were identified as the daughters of one Suresh Pahan aged about Puja Pahan(7 years) and Khusi Pahan ( 10 years) of the same locality.
As per Satyaranjan Pradhan,IIC Khalikote, the sister duo had gone to the village pond in the morning to take bath. While taking bath, their legs slipped into the deep water. Following this, they drowned.
Later, locals recovered the body from the pond and informed the same to the police. Police reached the spot and both the bodies are shifted to CHC Khallikote and subsequently sent to MKCG for autopsy.
Khalikote Police have registered a case of unnatural death and launched a probe into the incident.
