TWO HELD BY POLICE FOR KIDNAPPING A YOUTH IN BERHAMPUR

Berhampur:BN Pur Police on Friday arrested two persons for abducting a Subhshis Patra of Godabarishnagar 26 years Berhampur.
Subhshis Patra a resident of Godavarish Nagar,Berhampur BN Pur police limits was kidnapped by the two accused on Thursday on demanding of huge amount.
Acting on the complaint, the police registered a case and launched a probe. The police tracked the cell phone location and rescued Subhshis Patra .
In a statement Mr B.Pati,SDPO,City informed to press people that, the accused persons Balaji Behera (25) and Shivaji Behera(22) both sons of Prafulla Behera of Polsara presently residing at Laxminrusingha Nagar, 7th lane ,Berhampur have been arrested on Thursday at 8PM for kidnapping Subhshis Patra of Godabarish Nagar on 7.3.2020 at about 11AM from near City High School. They confined Subhasis till 11.3.20 and demanded Rs 3,40000 for the release of Subhasis Patra to the mother of Subhsis Patra.
In connection BN Pur Police have registered a case U/s 364(A)/343/506/386 IPC. They were forwarded to judicial custody and further investigation into the matter is underway.
