Two Dacoits Nabbed In Ganjam; Car, Mobiles Seized By Cop.

Ganjam,(Bhanjanagar):Ganjam Police have nabbed two dacoits and seized two cars from dacoity gang under Bhanjanagar PS in Ganjam district .
Those arrested are identified as Gagan Rana (23), S/o- Daka Rana, Vill- G.Nuagaon, PS- Belaguntha, Dist- Ganjam. At/Pr.- Khandagiri Bari in front of Jayadev Batiks. Bharatpur Bhubaneswar. Dist.Ganjam and Rinku Biswal (19) S/o- Sarat Chandra Biswal, Vill- Krushnapalli, PS- Baideswar, Dist- Cuttack.
Police sources said,on 24.07.2023 morning at about 7:00 A.M. five nos of unknown culprits came in a Swift D Zire car committed dacoity of one Tata Indigo ECS Car bearing Regd No. OD 02 T 2560 from the driver of that Indigo car along with his mobile phone from Dadarlunda Chhak under Bhanjanagar PS limit. In this connection Bhanjanagar PS Case No. 630 Dtd. 24.07.2023 U/s- 395 IPC was registered.
During investigation, police detected this case with the help of CCTV footage & could able to seize the vehicle of complainant, which they took away forcibly along with the used Swift D Zire Car bearing Regd. No. OD 02 T 0098, one mobile phone from the possession of above named two accused persons.
During subsequent interrogation police suspecting the duo dacoits were involved in different theft cases other part of Odisha.
Both have been arrested and forwarded to court.
