Two Arrested for Snatching Mobile Phone From Women Pedestrian .

Koraput:Two persons were arrested on Thrusday for snatching a mobile phone from a woman in Semiliguda area.
According to Mr. Pradyumna Mahapatra,IIC, Semiliguda, A woman was robbed of her mobile phone by two bikers on. People gathered on the spot on hearing her cries for help but by then the accused had fled from there. A case under Sections 392 and 34 of the IPC was registered by the Semiliguda police Station against two unidentified persons.
With Assistance of koraput Cyber Cell, seized the robbed Mobile phone and motorcycle which was used for the crime. Arrested and forwarded accused persons namely Damburu Panasputia and Karan Nandibali both are of village Kangra, Semiliguda block under Pottangi Constituency in connection with PS case no -36/23 U/s 392/34 IPC.
On dated 19.3.23 at about 8 pm while the complainant was going by walk and talking with her mobile phone, the above two persons came in a motorcycle and forcefully snatched away the mobile phone. Today the mobile phone, motorcycle was seized from them.
Victim Bishnupriya Khillo of Kailash Nagar, Semiliguda under Sunabeda municipality thanked the cops of Semiliguda P.S stating,Police officers put their lives on the line every day to keep our communities safe. We should all be grateful for their service and do everything we can to support them.
