TRAFFIC RULE VIOLATIONS CAN LEAD TO SUSPENSION OF D.L,Pinak Mishra, SP

BERHAMPUR:The traffic rule violators can be imposing hefty penalty and lead to suspension of the driving Licence. Basis on the recent guideline issued by Odisha Transport Authority and introduction of  new changes regarding the enforcement of traffic rules in Berhampur City said,Pinak Mishra,SP Berhampur.

Public need to abide the traffic rules strictly otherwise they have to face our traffic enforcement. In city  everyone aware  that in all traffic post BeMC and Berhampur police installed CCTV and our Traffic control room watching the each and every movement of illegal driving, violating the traffic rules, crossing the Zebra lines and sometimes  misbehaving to Cop on duty triple riding etc..

Followings to be noted the changes, violation of norms even a first time offenders can lead to suspension of driving license; Driving at a speed exceeding the specified limit also including red light jumping, Carrying overload in goods carriages and carrying persons in goods carriages, Driving vehicles under the influence of drinks and drugs, Using a mobile phone while driving a vehicle.Police officers also authorised to seize the DL of the offender and forward the same to the RTO, he added.
