TPSODL Felicitates Young Champions Under ‘Catch Them Young’ Initiative

Berhampur, December, 2025: TP Southern Odisha Distribution Limited (TPSODL) reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing grassroots sporting talent by felicitating young athletes under its flagship CSR initiative ‘Catch Them Young: Turning Dreams into Victories.’ The felicitation ceremony was organized to honour outstanding performers who represented TPSODL at the 62nd Ganjam District Athletic Meet held on 13th–14th December 2025 in Berhampur, Odisha.

Selected through a rigorous process from over 1,000 students, the athletes showcased exceptional skill and determination, winning multiple medals across track and field events. Their achievements stand as a testament to the effectiveness of structured training, professional coaching, and continuous mentoring provided under the Catch Them Young programme.

The medal winners included Ms. Puspabati Raita (Gold in 5000 m Race Walk and 1500 m Run), Ms. Sudeepta Jena (Gold in 600 m Run), Ms. N Puja (Gold in 5000 m Race Walk and Silver in 1000 m Run), Ms. Ranjani Mandal (Silver in 600 m Run), Mr. Sahil Kumar Sahu (Bronze in 200 m Sprint), Ms. Kaberi Badaraita (Bronze in High Jump), and Ms. Lija Badaraita (Bronze in Javelin Throw).

The felicitation ceremony was graced by TPSODL CEO, Mr. Amit Kumar Garg, along with members of the senior leadership team, who personally congratulated and encouraged the young achievers.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Garg said, ‘At TPSODL, we strongly believe that talent, when identified early and supported consistently, can achieve remarkable success. The ‘Catch Them Young’ initiative is our effort to empower promising athletes from grassroots communities and help them dream big, compete confidently, and excel at higher levels.’

Through its CSR initiatives, TPSODL continues to invest in youth development, creating pathways where talent meets opportunity and aspirations are transformed into achievements.
