Tirtol By-Elections-Odisha BJP Declares Candidates

BHUBANESWAR:The BJP on Sunday declared its party candidates for the forthcoming by-elections to Balasore Sadar and Tirtol Assembly seats to be held on 3rd November,2020.
Manas Dutta, son of deceased BJP MLA Madan Mohan Dutta will contest from Balasore Sadar while Rajkishore Behera is chosen as candidate for Tirtol.
“I thank Union ministers Dharmendra Pradhan, Pratap Sarangi and all party workers for showing trust on me. We are with the people and continue to do so in the future. I will follow the footprints of my father and start from where he has left,” Dutta said to scribe.
Asked about the ruling BJD’s prospects for poll, Dutta said, “We are not scared of the BJD’s strategies. The voters will choose right candidate on November 3. By the grace of the voters and my father, BJP will win the election.”
Earlier, Congress had said, it would declare its candidates for the by-polls, whereas the BJD is yet to announce candidates.
