The turnout in the first round of elections has risen sharply

Koraput:In the first phase of the three-tier panchayat elections in Borigumma, Bandhugaon and Semiliguda blocks of Koraput district today, a total of 180,718 voters cast their ballots in 41 panchayats, including Zilla parishads, panchayat sarpanches, ward members and committee members.  According to preliminary information, about 70 per cent of the voters cast ballots in the block and 80 per cent of the voters cast their ballots in the Semiliguda block.  “The number is higher than in the last election,” he said.  He asserted that his confession had been obtained through torture, and that his confession had been obtained through torture.
