Nayagarh,12/12/23:Saswat Kumar Pattanaik, the District Sub Registrar in Nayagarh, landed in Vigilance net for amassing disproportionate assets.
Simultaneous raids were launched at six places including Nayagarh and Kendrapara by Odisha Vigilance led by 8 DSPs, 6 Inspectors and other staff on the strength of search warrants issued by Special Judge, vigilance, Bhubaneswar.
The raids are being conducted in the following places:
A rented house of Pattanaik at Debottara Colony, Lane- 4, Nayagarh,House of Pattanaik at Talabaranga in Kendrapara district,His office at DSR, Nayagarh,Pattanaik’s parental house at Talagaon village under Kudanagari police limits in Kendrapara district.A house of Pattanaik’s relative at Pentha in Kendrapara district and house of another relative at Dalanta in Kendrapara district

During house searches so far, the following assets have been unearthed in the name of Sri Pattanaik and his family members;
One double storeyed building with total area of 2350 sqft located at Talabaranga, Kendrapara Town. Another double storeyed building with total area of approx 2100 sqft located at Talagaon, PS-Kudanagari, Kendrapara,6 plots in and around Cuttack, Jatni, Khurdha and Kendrapara towns. Details as under;
i).A piece of land measuring an area of Ac 0.046002 dec. vide Khata No-1162/2216 and Plot No-1019/1357, Mauza-Bhanapur, Cuttack.
ii).A piece of land measuring an area of Ac. 0.055 dec. vide Khata No-466 and Plot No-250, Mauza-Baanra, Cuttack.
iii).A piece of land measuring an area of Ac. 0.02754 dec. vide Khata No-86 and Plot No-613, Mauza-Dhakhinamundamuhan, Khurdha.
iv).A piece of land measuring an area of Ac. 0.0027 dec. vide Khata No-1339 and Plot No-144, Mauza-Chhhanaghar, Jatni, Khurdha.
v).A piece of land measuring an area of Ac. 0.55 dec. vide Khata No-644 and Plot No-1242, Mauza-Narangarh, Khurdha.
vi)A piece of land measuring an area of Ac. 0.06 dec. vide Khata No-166/175 and Plot No-262/643, Mauza-Balarampur, Kendrapara.
The measurement and valuation/assessment of the above buildings/plots is being carried out by Vigilance Technical Wing.Advance Rs.6,54,500/- paid to two Realtors for purchase of land in his name. Deposits are being ascertained.1 four wheeler and 3 two wheelers.
