Terribly Hurt & Saddened as Lost My Loving Younger Brother (!).

Bhubaneswar:Terribly hurt and saddened as i lost my most loving younger brother Pravat on Sunday ( 18th december 2022 ) at the age of 79 0nly
He was 2 years younger than me in age. he is survived by three sons, three daughters-in-law, three grandsons, and one granddaughter. praavat was a combination of laxman and bharat in reality.
Pravat had a massive heart attack and breathed his last at the kalinga hospital in the forenoon.of sunday.
He was the third child of my parents eminent freedom fighter raghunath patnaik and harabala patnaik of olad\singh in khurdha district while i was the second child among four sons and nine daughters of my proud parents.
Earlier i had lost my elder sister prativa manjari and younger brother dr pragati kumar patnaik.
pravat was a great strength for our family, in every respect. he was painstaking, and he was of great support to our family. after completing his education he preferred to try his hand at business to support our large family.
Pravat and me married to chandraprava and shariprava on 23ed january 1967 who were daughters of eminent social acctvist and reformist saraswati devi of puri.
Ours was a joint family and after the sudden death of my paternal aunit bini apa, my mother also took care of her seven children.
Pravat was very popular in our village as he was extending his helping hand to the poor and needy people of the locality. enjoying full support of the family members.
He gave the highest education to his three sons in engineering colleges outside odisha who are now well-placed. pravat also extended financial help to the poor and needy students of our locality.
He was also spending a good amount of money on philanthropic and religious activities.
he was very popular among the people of our village as well as that of the nearby villagers.
He had no political ambition and served the people selflessly. he was the real spirit behind the dolajatra of our village which is managed by our family.
His sudden demise has created a big vacuum in y heart as well as hears of all our family members. we pray lord jagannath and shirdi sai baba to place his nice soul under their lotus feed and give enough strength to all of us to bear this great loss.
