Teaching in Verandah at Anganwadi Centre
Paralakhemundi- At Mohana block of Gajapati district a setback found,where children of anganwadi centre studying in verandah.Just a backside dream simply fiasco on development. Years together at Narayan nagar of block headquarter such a scene found.Though anganwadi centre functioning at a rented house;but regular building yet to be completed already one & half year passed.Rina Mahapatra the worker managing the centre told, she expressed her concern before CDPO Lalita Mallick,PEO & local Sarpanch.Half constructed work stranded of the building. Ward member Sasmita Mishra who was incharge of construction said that 2.70 lakhs sanctioned but the PEO Laxmikant Patra had assured to complete the work if more fund needed.Surplus amount of ₹30000 yet not sanctioned.So she locked the home.
Vandalism to play with small kids on future marked,hoever may be responsible action to be taken.PEO Mohana denied to sanction further amount.Area people saying since joining of Laxmikant Patra as PEO;corruption streamed.That too needy to get IAY still deprived. Various allegations like free wi-fi service,cctv on junction fixation, parking plate fixed & refixed, for roadside bench construction materials stored & later cleared close of road construction, intentionally ward members allowance stopped,extra bill on various development works,panchayat peon’s salary held up,lack of proper valuation on tender budget on cattles on weekly market,on casualties pipeline spread even at midnight, lacking housing without bribe,delay on producing resolution note book of gramsabha of Mohana likewise stream of corruption lagged on him.Due to lack of proper place on outside those children are sitting & even fear of wild animals as nearer to forest area which is not safety.So locals demand to open the constructed building soon.
