Teachers’ Day Gift: Odisha Govt To Regularise Jobs Of 13,000 Schematic Junior Teachers
Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Thursday announced that the state government will regularise the jobs of more than 13,000 schematic junior teachers, appointed earlier this year. The declaration was made on the occasion of Teachers’ Day.
In an official statement, the government confirmed the move, saying the decision marks a significant step in strengthening the teaching workforce across the state.
Following the announcement, a delegation of the Odisha Schematic Junior Teachers’ Association called on the Chief Minister at the State Guest House in Bhubaneswar and expressed their gratitude. They also lauded the government’s efforts to improve primary education in Odisha.
Addressing the gathering, Majhi urged teachers to dedicate themselves to providing quality education. “We all face challenges in life, but these should be taken as opportunities. Under no circumstances should a teacher forget his or her duty towards students,” he said.
