TATA MEDICA COVID-19 HOSPITAL, IN GANJAM DEDICATED BY ODISHA CHIEF MINISTER

GANJAM: As an initiative by the Govt. of Odisha and guidance of Hon’ble Chief Minister,Naveen Patnaik, 200 bedded TATA Medica COVID-19 Hospital, Sitapalli, in Ganjam dedicated by Hon’ble Chief Minister,Naveen Patnaik on Friday.
The Hospital managed by the TATA STEET MEDICA and founded by Tata Steel will operate as dedicated COVID Hospital and dedicated COVID health Centre.
Speaking to Scribe, Collector,Ganjam Vijay Amruta Kulange said, Doctors and staff nurses and other paramedic staffs from MKCG-MCH Berhampur will manage the Covid19 hospital. Regarding other housekeeping and support staffs like Security, Cleaning and attendant provided from CDM & PHO Ganjam. Presently 15 no’s. Of ICU bed are in full functional, additional 5 no’s. of Beds will be availed within next 10 days.
The hospital will function with 20 bedded ICU and 120 nos. of General beds for COVID- +ve cases, 40 nos. of isolation beds for suspected Covid19 cases.
Further he added, Dr. Umasankar Mishra, Associated Prof. MKCG MCH, is assigned as Authorize Medical Officer for COVID Hospital and accommodation for all staffs has been arranged in the premises as per protocol of COVID management.
The hospital dedicated in presence of BeMC Commissioner,Chakravartysingh Rathore, CDM &PHO Ganjam Dr. Umasankar Mishra, Suptd. MKCG Dr. Santosh Mishra, ADM (General), Secretary BeDA,Sambit Raut, MKCG administrative officer, DPM, DMRCH, AM-GKS, Hospital manager MKCG and Sandeep Mishra,General Manager of Tata Hospital and all staff members of hospital were present.
