TALCHER WORKING JOURNALISTS’ ASSOCIATION ORGANISES BLOOD DONATION CAMP AT BHEL CAMPUS

TALCHER :A voluntary blood donation camp was organized by Talcher Working Journalists’ Association in association with BHEL at NTPC Talcher Thermal. Burahan Majhi, Project Director cum General Manager and Manoj Kumar Malla, senior manager (HR) of BHEL,Govind Sahi, Senior Officer of Powermec, Dr. Pradeep Kumar inaugurated the camp. Employees of 22 companies working under TTPS/ BHEL voluntarily donated blood in this camp. Powermech, KSPL, Tekno, Pahad Pur, B&B, Mittal Engineering, M.S. Enterprises, Sirco Mata Janki and other companies were involved in this camp. CISF and NTPC supported in this programme.
The president of TWJA. Madan Mohan Sahoo, secretary Soubhagya Chandra Nayak, treasurer Soumitra Senapati, vice president Ajay Kumar Nayak, Narottam Sahu, Niranjan Samal encouraged the donors and managed the camp. The staffs of Talcher Blood Bank collected the blood and 73 units of blood were collected in this camp.
