SUSPICIOUS AS WITCHCRAFT A PERSON KILLED
Bhagabat Padhi,OdishabartaGAJAPATI,(RUdayagiri):Blind and superstitious feelings bewildering among rural folks for which those adhered witchcraft has to pay price even death. As an incident one Dalimba Gamango as a suspicious witchcraft, was brutally killed by Budu Gamango of Kandulu under RUdayagiri Police Station & later that deceased body was buried near Anadhamba nala. Immediately noticed such incident RUdayagiri Police arrested Budu & case(76/20)registered at RUdayagiri Police Station.The buried body evacuated & sent for postmortem to MKCG Medical College at Brahmapur.Statement of such incident given by RUdayagiri IIC Mamata Nayak.
Notably both the accused and deceased belong to Kandulu village of R Udayagiri PS limit
