SUPREME COURT APPROVED INTERIM BAIL TO ARNAB, JUSTICE DELIVERED AND PEOPLE REJOICED

In an unprecedented manner Supreme Court of India granted interim bail to Arnab Goswami, Editor-in Chief of Republic TV today. This decision had come late in the afternoon which was eagerly awaited by many people across the globe and celebrations started thereby after receiving the news. He is going to release after 8 days of judicial custody by the session court in Mumbai. Since the day of Arnab’s arrest mass outrage was seen across the streets of the country. People have come to the roads and shouted slogans against the Maharashtra Govt. and Mumbai Police for their inaction conducted which is not done with a reputed journalist like Arnab hose channel is the no-1 channel of the country and is considered as the no-1 journalists of the country.
He was better known for his outspoken quality and raising voice against corruptions and injustice. Every day at 9pm he appears in Republic TV channel which has been the most sought program. This incidence kick started when he started questioning Maharashtra Govt. regarding Plaghar Sadhu lynching, Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, death of Disha Salian and many other issues where Maharashtra Govt. was questioned time and again for their loose actions.
A tough fight of words was going on between Arnab and Mumbai Police Commissioner, Param Bir Singh. Since the time of this investigation of Sushant the tension mounted and Maharashtra police started targeting Arnab like they did with Kangna Ranaut. Yesterday after not getting the interim bail relief from Mumbai High Court, Arnab’s had approached the Supreme Court for the interim bail and today is the days scheduled for hearing.
After long arguments, Supreme Court has observed that the process followed is not the right one and came hard on courts and approved interim bail to Arnab and also ordered to release him at the earliest. People have gathered in front of Taloja Jail to witness him after 8 days. They have rejoiced by distributing sweets and sloganeering for Arnab and shouted “Bande Mataram” and writing “SATYAMEVA JAYATE” on roads outside the jail. Sweets were distributed seen in Kolkata, Pune, Ayodhya, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Assam, Odisha and in many other states of India. Now Arnab is seen as messiah of justice and truth. People across all ages have come forward to celebrate. And they cheered this massive event of release of Arnab with full of heart. Even people in Delhi at Jantar Mantar are seen wearing T-Shirts on writings, ‘Release Arnab Now’. It shoes everyone’s love for Arnab and love for the work Arnab has been doing and fighting against injustice. For the first time ever the country has seen a celebration for a journalist like Arnab which has not happened till now from the time of independence. This has made the Maharashtra Govt. blue faces and the level of vindictive attitude which is not expected from a Govt. who is there to take care of their a common citizen. This Supreme Court verdict has given a clear message that no Govt. should dare to attempt to hamper anyone’s personal freedom. The two bench comprising of judges Justice D.Y.Chandrachud and Justice Indira Banerjee have given the important judgment and highlighted the importance of personal liberty and also sent out a message to the High Courts across the country to maintain it. The case was filed against Arnab and other two in a abatement to suicide case which was happened in 2018 and was closed subsequently.
Ram Kadam of BJP in Maharashtra who was very much vocal on this issue had visited Taloja Jail several times met the Hon’ble Governor and wrote letter to safeguard Arnab’s helath in jail. Moreover, this verdict is widely celebrated across the country and people are seen saying that Diwali is started from today.
