Superstition still for stomach pain through Hot Branding Treatment

Paralakhemundi- Superstition gruelling among backward community despite all access of update medical treatment. Through Niramaya & others even door services reaching where ANMs & ASHA workers given responsibility for any emergency.Despite all strategy diagnosis yet to reach at grassroots. Such traumatic case found at an interior part of Mohana block. At Ataganda village under Guluba panchayat of Mohana block such grave situation found where one Gunjipatang Mallick suffered on stomach pain. Due to financial constraint he could not go to nearest health centre rather perished through hot branding at his stomach. That more aggravated surrounding stomach with spot & still not progressing. Rather ASHA or local ANM should have acquainted & they can refer him to medical treatment. This seems callousness among health staff nor family of patient sensitized. This really a lamenting scene & proving lack of providing door services on health point of view. Now villagers appealed for immediate check up for recovery of the patient.
