Subhadra Yojana: Eligible Women Who Missed 2nd Installment To Receive Money on Rakhi Purnima
Bhubaneswar: Over one lakh women did not receive the second installment of the Subhadra Yojana benefits because of discrepancies in their ration card details and declared income, informed Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida on Wednesday.
She informed that after improvement in their financial condition, several women have voluntarily returned their ration cards, while some others purchased vehicles or reported high paddy yields, which made them ineligible for the Subhadra Yojana scheme.
To re-evaluate the eligibility of affected women, the state government will conduct a thorough survey after March 31, she said.
The Deputy CM assured that women wrongly excluded due to documentation problems will receive their second installment by Rakhi Purnima.
