STF, SEIZED DUPLICATE GOPAL ZARDA IN BHUBANESWAR

BHUBANESWAR: The Special Task Force (STF) of Crime Branch seized huge quantity of duplicated pan masala and cigarettes bundle in Bhubaneswar and peripheral area.
According to a senior STF official, on Tuesday basis on intelligence input STF experts conducted a raids at different places in Bhubaneswar and the periphery area against illegal storage, manufacture of duplicate and fake products of Gopal Zarda, Suravi, Kanak Deluxe Shivdata Zarda.As a result in one occasion heavy quantity of Gopal Zarda and tobacco materials seized from the possession of Babu alias Pabitra Kumar Prasad of Badatota Jatni PS limit.
Similarly heavy quantity of such duplicate products of Gopal Zarda and other tobacco were recovered from the possession of Laxmidhar Sahoo under Balipatna police limit.
On this massive drive at both places the STF have seized a total of 211 nos Gopal Zarda 500 gms, 1Qntl.05 Kg, 209 nos of Gopal Zarda40 gms i.e. 8Kg.360 gms,340 nos of Gopal Zarda 45 gms i.e.15Kg.300gms,599 nos of Shivdatta Zarda 40 gms i.e.23Kg.960gms,1097 nos of Suravi Zarda 40gms i.e.43Kg.880gms,393 nos of Kanak Zarda,130 nos Kanak Zarda, huge quantity of tobacco and 164 bundles of cigarettes.
