Speculations regarding Prayag Raj station clarified

Rayagada (Badal Tah): There is direct train from Rayagada to Prayag Raj Cheoki. Devoutees from Rayagada can also reach Varanasi directly from Rayagada and then commute to attend Kumbh Mela at Prayag Raj. In response to recent news reports regarding the alleged closure of Prayag Raj station, Amitabh Singhal, Divisional Railway Manager of Rayagada has strongly condemned the speculations and clarified the factual position concerning the Prayag Raj area.
 
Singhal reassured the public that all services from Prayag Raj stations are operating as per the planned schedule and the station is fully functional. All scheduled trains are running as per the timetable. Special trains are being operated as planned. Unreserved passenger trains are being run on a demand basis. The General Manager of North Central Railway along with the DRM of Prayag Raj, Varanasi, and Lucknow are camping at Prayag Raj to oversee the smooth functioning of operations. The situation is being continuously monitored at the Station, Division, Zonal and Railway Board levels round the clock.
 
The DRM emphasized that the Railway team is fully committed to ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience for all passengers traveling through Prayag Raj and other stations in the Mahakumbh region. He also reassured the public that all operations are under constant supervision and are functioning according to plan.
