Special Winter NSS Camp of Sunabeda Women’s Degree College inaugurated.

Sunabeda: 18/01/24: A seven-day winter special camp of National Service Scheme has been inaugurated today at Sunabeda Women’s Degree College. Shaik Ibrahim, member of the College Governing Body attended as the Chief Guest and called upon the volunteers to get involved with the community and develop their personalities and develop the society and the country. Principal of the college Usharani Das attended as the Guest of Honour and explained role of a true NSS volunteer.She shared her cherished moments of NSS camp as a Programme Officer and wished for the success of the camp.Senior Lecturer Dr. Basudev Sahu attended as a special Guest and highlighted various types of social services.Volunteers Lakshmi Pradhan, Usha Bagh, Khushi Das,Subhasree Mohanty encouraged the students by sharing their experiences of last year’s NSS camp . NSS Programme Officer,Sarita Parida conducted the meeting and highlighted the various programmes to be held during the seven-day camp, like organisation of Blood Donation Camp, Women’s Legal Rights, Modern Education System, Transparency, Artificial Intelligence, Nutrition Campaign etc. YRC Councilor Ms. Shubhashree Parida congratulated the volunteers and proposed the vote of thanks. The said camp has been started with 50 volunteers.
