CHATRAPUR,(Ganjam):Superintendent of Police Brijesh Rai on Tuesday chaired the crime review meeting through Zoom Video Conferencing.

At the meeting, he asked the SDPOs’ and Inspectors of Ganjam police district to implement the preventive measures to maintain law and order situation in Ganjam.

This was routine crime meeting. We discussed the use of various preventive sections of the law and preventive actions along with issues related to improving public interface,” Brijesh said.

He also stressed on collection of more evidences, improving prosecution and trial of cases also reviewed COVID guidelines , enforcement, arrest action of NBW cases.

As per the source, he said all cases pending at different police stations in Police district to be disposed with immediate effect. All ASP including TP Patro and DSP-DIB Ajaya Kumar Mishra were also present.All investigating Officers (IOs) also directed and formulated strategies to improve conduct of criminal trials.
