Shadow of Trees Deprived at Nuagada Block

Paralakhemundi : On an inhuman act by Forest department tarnished minimum shadow for trespassers from big trees.In between Khajuripada panchayat office to Dogharia village of Nuagada block such tragic situation found, where massive old trees shattered from state highway.Long 3 kms road distance turned chaotic situation,where 103 such trees blanked from either roadside. Question arises even after tar filled on road why such uprooted of centuries together old trees by whose permission.On scorching heat mostly students attend their classes at BRAmbedkar College & use to take rest that too deprived.Even those who attend at Dogharia Ashram School they too forfeited to quench from shadow & clean air. Walkers who usually go to Khajuripada weekly market on every Tuesday facing & even daily market from farthest villages feeling more aggravate situation to walk on boil heat.After tar filled those trees uprooted.Secondly to make wide the road at least before spray of tar tree should have cleared.
While interacted with PWD staff they polished on their reply that for drain construction on roadside such action taken.On road construction map those trees identified to uproot. Moreover after clearance from electricity department again 2 more trees to be shaped out said by authorities of Odisha Forest Development Corporation.Area people retorted instead of cutting centuries old banyan,teak, mango, jackfruit such valuable trees on edge side drain could have constructed.
