SENIOR CITIZENS TIRTHA YATRA TOWARDS SOUTH INDIA

Berhampur/Gajapati: Brahmapur-Senior Citizens from South Odisha districts assembled together at Berhampur to start their pilgrimage journey from tomorrow. They all catch train today at 11am from Berhampur railway station.A campaign to bring unique smile & tranquillity of friendship & bond of unique relationship among one another.

Tourism department has made an attempt for 970 pilgrims to visit Madurai, Tirupati,Rameswaram etc.

Among those districts from Ganjam 483 persons,Gajapati 59,Kandhamal 53, Koraput 113,Malkangiri 52,Nabarangpur 83, Rayagada 97 & Boudh 30 will assemble for their pious journey.30 officials recruited from various districts to take all possible care & management of those elder persons.

To wish the journey of Senior Citizens at Berhampur station,Ganjam Collector,Vijaya Amruta Kulange,MP,Chandra Sekhar Sahu,MLA,Berhampur Bikram Panda,Ganjam District BJD President Dr RC Chyu Patnaik and representative of various organisation were assembled.

Similarly on a special occasion at Gajapati district head quarter Paralakhemundi Collector Anupam Saha seen off those pilgrims, who left for Brahmapur to join others, with folded hands for their successful journey. Among those blocks of Gajapati; from Gosani 30 persons, Nuagada 2,RUdayagiri 8,Mohana 9 & from Paralakhemundi Municipality 10 (in total male 29 & female 30)joined on such historical journey.

Among others Amulya Kumar Sethi District Tourist Officer,Manoj Kumar Sabat District Coordinator of Biju Yuba Vahini & Ajit Kumar Behera Sr.Clerk of Mohana joined with them to take every possible CARE.DCPO Arun Kumar Tripathy & Sunita Kumari Mishra also present during seen off events for Sr.Citizens at Paralakhemundi.
