SANITARY WORKERS ARE HIGHLY INFUENCED NOT TO GET FOUR MONTHS SALARY

TALCHER:All the regular and NMR sanitary workers of Talcher Municipality have not got their salaries, although four months will be completed after a week. The poor sanitary workers requested the municipal authorities to pay their arrear amountas well as the monthly salary, but the then executive officer, Atasi Parida, who was transferred from Talcher to Deogargh Municipality very shortly did not pay any heed to their sorrowful requests and told themthat they will be paid their salaries and other arrears after getting the grants from State Government.
In the mean time, the president of Talcher Municipality Saphei Karmachar iSangha, Dhiramohan Ray has written a letter to the Collector & DM ofAngul Dist. regarding the problems of the sanitary workers and requested him to solve this sensitive issue by paying the four months’ salary and other arrears as early as possible, because maximum sanitary workers suffered from Diabetes, High Blood Pressure and Asthma are taking medicines regularly. Now the shopkeepers are denied not to give them groceries and medicines as well through which their lives may come to an end by not getting medicines. Sri Ray alleged thatat the time of transferred of AtasiParida, ex executive officer of Talcher Municipality, how all the salaries including seventh pay arrears were drawn in favour of Smt. Parida and how the accountant of Talcher Municipality passed her bills without any remarks, it is making a question mark in the mind of each and every employees !!! Really, it is an inhuman and unlawful activities created by Atasi Parida and her supporting hand, the accountant, so, legal action must be taken against them. For and on behalf of the association Sri Ray also prays before collector to arrange to pay all the dues and salaries of all the sanitary workers and employees as an earliest. The copy of the letter was also served to the administrator/ sub collector, Talcher Municipality and Executive Officer Talcher Municipality to do the needful.
