SAMAVESH 2020:THE XAHS BUSINESS CONCLAVE

BHUBANESWAR:Samavesh is the Annual Business Conclave of Xavier School of Human Settlements (XAHS), Xavier University Bhubaneswar. The event witnesses’ leaders from the industry enlightening the students through their insights related to the theme of the conclave. It gives the students an opportunity to discuss with the panelists various urban issues by fostering greater interaction between the industry and academia that enriches the students about the needs and demands of the industry in the urban domain.

Samavesh 2020 will be held in collaboration with HabituX- The Students Association of XAHS and CAS-XAHSon 10th, 11th and 12th September, 2020 from 10am to 12 noon. The theme of Samavesh’20 is “Reimagining Cities: Pandemic as an opportunity for resilient urban future”. Which will highlight the various issues regarding urban resilience and ways to reimagine or reshape the cities keeping the pandemic in mind. This will help in broadening our horizon while keeping city planning and management as priority. The speakers will throw light on their take on urban resilience and a better urban future. This year due to the pandemic, XAHS will be holding an e-Samavesh in the Zoom platform.
