SAKSHAM Odisha Representatives Participate in National Executive Council Meeting

Rayagada, November 15: SAKSHAM, Odisha Paschim representatives have participated in the 2-day National Executive Council Meeting held at Seva Sadana Kendra in Panipat district, Haryana. It is to be noted that like every year, this year too, the 17thExecutive Council Meeting of the Samdrishti, Kshamata Vikas Evam Anusandhan Mandal (SAKSHAM) was held at the said venue. Dr. Gopeswari Hota, Shyam Kumar Dash, Bijay Kumar Mishra and Dr. Sujata Panda from Odisha Paschimtook part in this meeting.
Around 220 representatives from 46 Prants of the entire country were present in this meeting.The Central Committee provided guidance on how SAKSHAM organizations can create an impact in the field of 21 types disabilities enshrined in Disability Act-2016. The senior office bearers of National SAKSHAM also guided how the members of the organization can reach out to every Divyang of the country and provide services to achieve the goal of SAKSHAM so that the Divyangs can progress in the fields of education, health, social harmony and employment. This was a meeting cum training& orientation. The knowledge imbibed through this sensitization process is supposed to be seriously implemented in every district of the Prant for the disabled, informed Odisha Paschim General Secretary Shyam Kumar Dash.
