Rs 14.5 Lakh Cash, 3 Buildings, 4 Flats, 7 Plots Unearthed from Crorepati Hirakud ACF’s Possession

Bhubaneswar: During the simultaneous raids on Friday, Odisha vigilance officials unearthed a massive stash of cash and assets linked to Rebati Raman Joshi, Assistant Conservator of Forest (ACF) of Hirakud Wildlife Division Sambalpur.

The properties linked to the ACF are three buildings including a triple-storeyed building in Sambalpur town, four flats including one flat in Bhubaneswar and three in Sambalpur town, seven plots located in Sambalpur town and Padampur, Bargarh.

Cash worth Rs 14.5 lakhs, 150 gram gold jewellery and silver ornaments weighing 300 grams were also seized.

The Vigilance Department are investigating his bank, insurance, and postal deposits, as well as other investments.

Details of the unearthed assets are:

*One triple storeyed building with area 9,700 Sqft. at Ainthapalli, Sambalpur.

*One commercial building at Malipalli, Sambalpur on Sambalpur-Jharsuguda Road given on rent to Godrej Interio.

*One building at Padmapur, Dist-Bargarh.

*One flat in Satyam Royale Apartment at Ghatikia, Bhubaneswar.

*One 3-BHK flat vide No.A-406, City Pride Apartment building, Farm Road, Sambalpur.

*One 2-BHK flat vide No.G-6, Kanheya Block, Brijdham Housing Society, near Church Chowk, Sambalpur.

*Another 2-BHK flat vide No.G-5, Kanheya Block, Brijdham Housing Society, near Church Chowk, Sambalpur.

*7 nos. of plots of which 4 in prime areas of Sambalpur town & 3 in Padampur, Bargarh.

*Cash Rs.14.5 Lakhs.

*Gold jewellery weighing 150 gms & Silver ornaments 300 gms.
