ROURKELA POLICE CRACKED THE MASS GANG RAPE CASE

ROURKELA: Rourkela Police cracked the mass gang rape case and arrested three accused.
One girl was found in a miserable condition near Aerodrome field on 15th morning of September by few passersby who were on morning walk. This girl was raped by few unknown persons discovered by Chhend police after taking the case in their hand. Few political parties were also staged protest to arrest all the culprits which has mounted pressure on Rourkela police.
One police team was formed as per the direction of Rourkela SP, K Shiva Subramani and extensive search was launched. Police managed to crack the case and arrested three persons from Nala Road area of Rourkela in connection to this case and they have confessed to this crime. As per the preliminary investigation, he victim girl was a native of a village in periphery of Rourkela and was in love with a married man which she was unaware of it. On the day of the incidence this man took this girl on bike and was roaming in Gurundia area, by that time they met an accident with a Bolero where all these three accused were present. When the biker fell to the ground injured, they kidnapped this girl forcibly and raped throughout the night by all the members and finally they took her to a lonely place nearby Aerodrome area and there they threw her with injuries. After the investigation, the information came all these three are thieves and have stolen this bolero and few others and was moving on this stolen Bolero that night. Chhend Police has arrested all three accused, named, Sarfaraj, Hira and Pappu and seized two Boleros from them. Police is readying to catch the lover very soon, said SP, K Shiva Subramani in a press briefing in Chhend Police station. It was a success for Rourkela police to crack the case as quickest time possible which is praiseworthy.
