ROURKELA POLICE ARRESTED FOUR DACOITS IN CONNECTION WITH LOOT

ROURKELA: After lockdown and shut down criminal activities have increased relatively on higher side in Rourkela and its periphery area. Yesterday Rourkela police with the help of Bondamunda police have arrested four dacoits and have seized ne bullet, one TVS Scooty, 2 motorcycles, one Laptop, 9 mobile phones, 17 gram Gold, one wrist watch and a cycle. This loot had happened mostly in Bondamunda area and it was continuous since July first week. One team was formed under the direction of Rourkela SP including Bondamunda police and tey have raided many places in Bondamunda.

During the intense raid by police, they managed to arrest these four dacoits and during the interrogation they confessed about their crime and the modus operandi was first they have stolen motorcycles in the day time and then with this motorbike they did reiki in the area where housed are remained locked. Finding the house locked they stole thing in the night. All these miscreants are having criminal records and were into the jail. They had returned from the jail in the first week of July and started their old practice. Police is now preparing to forward them to court, said DSP, P K Mishra in a press meet in Bondamunda police station.
