ROURKELA: Corona positive cases in Rourekla have become stable and no more positive cases have found yet. The last positive cases were found last week and contract tracing and subsequent tests have been done in Nala Road and Bisra, the containment zone but nothing was found. After the containment zone was declared on 30th, all total 105 samples have been collected in Sundergarh but none of them has found positive, a good news for Rourkela. About 114 students from Kota had reached Rourkela yesterday in 4 busses and out of them 47 samples have collected from the students who have some sign of fever or cold and all these samples have been sent for testing. Those who are tested been kept in quarantine by the administration and to a great relief, everyone is fine now. Rourkela Municipality Corporation is taking every steps to contain corona and the major thrust is in containment zone where regularly sanitization activities have been conducted and supply of all essential items are taking care of. Along with all tests have been conducted and news tests are doing on daily basis on the status of contract tracing. Local administration has put out new timing for different vendors of essential items and shops extending different services as permitted by the administration. Many vendors are confused about their opening timing because proper communication is not there unlike in last two lockdowns. In prior lockdowns administration took steps to announce timing by moving in sectors which is not seen this time. This lack of communication has affected fish/meat vendors, now they are allowed one day in a week on Sunday but in earlier time they were opening shops throughout the week. Because of this reason, on Friday many fish shops had opened and paid penalties for violating the norms.
