Rourkela ESI Model Hospitals Organized Awareness Event Different Nutritional Food

ROURKELA: Finger Millet which is also known as Ragi is a strong super food. Hence, All Govt. Including Centre and State have organized many events to promote different fods that are made of Millet across the country to aware our citizen. In continuation to this activity, ESI Hospital has also come up with such beautiful event in Rourkela too. One of the pioneer Health Service Providers, ESI Model Hospital has organized an event by displaying different tasty foods made of Ragi in ESI Model Hospital at 11.30am this morning in presence of Dr. Jayanti Behera, Medical Superintendent of the hospital, Mr.Sanjeev Kumar, Dy. Director of ESI, Hospital, Dr. Ajay Kumar Rout, CMO, Ayurveda, ESI Hospital and Akrur Martha, Yoga Instructor with the Hospital. How Millet can be used in our daily food habit and the nutritional value of Millet in general is elaborated by Dr. Jayanti Behera in front of a sizable number of patients and attendants present in the hospital. Dr. Ajay Rout who is the CMO, Ayurveda has vividly discussed about Millet products, its usage and nutritional value it carries and advised the patient and other visitors to the hospital to uses it to get maximum health benefits.   Also briefed how it will become economical in comparison other foods. Mr. Sanjeev Kumar invited all the visitors and gave a valuable input on Ragi prepared products and thanked everyone in the evnt. Dr. Ajay Rout invited the crowd to taste products which are made, i.e.  Malpua made of Ragi, Chakuli, Ragi Ladu and Ragi Pudding. The other official who present in the event wre Bismita Patel, Asst. Nursing Superintendent, Prasanta Sethy, Pharmacist, Ayurveda, ESI Hospital. This awareness program was welcomed by all participants  and praised the initiative taken by ESI Hospital.
