Rehabilitation for Orphan Children at Mohana

Mohana: For orphan children Gajapati district administration has taken initiatives for their rehabilitation & career building.Earier through anganwadi workers (AWWs) survey done of all Panchayats of Mohana block. By child protection unit socio-economic status reports collected.
By the instruction of Odisha state child protection commission at Mohana Panchayat office premises orphan children rehabilitation campaign program organized.
26 such children identified at spot. Their rehabilitation and career building will be taken as per legal entity, says Chairman of CWC Gajapati Pramod Kumar Roul.
Among others Members of CWC,Alaka Sahu,Hiranya Kumar Ray, CDPO Mohana,Lalita Mallick with Child line staff of Mohana,ICDS Supervisers,AWWs,Day star home staff were present at meeting.
