RAYAGADA RAIL DIVN BUZZING WITH CELEBRATIONS
Rayagada, (Badal Tah): After Rayagada was declared as a Rail Division by Ministry of Railways, GOI, a few important occasions were graced by none other than PM Modi, Rail Minister Aswini Vaishnaw through virtual mode. CM of Odisha Mohan Charan Majhi and Railway State Minister, GOI came to the railway station to inaugurateseveral projects in the Rauagada Rail division.
Recently, Rayagada Division of East Coast Railway celebrated the 79th Independence Day with great enthusiasm at the Railway Ground. Amitabh Singhal, Divisional Railway Manager, hoisted the National Flag and took the Rashtriya Salami, presented by contingents from the Railway Protection Force, Bharat Scouts & Guides.
In his address, Singhal extended heartfelt greetings to all railway personnel and their families, praising their relentless efforts in achieving the remarkable performance of the Zone and Indian Railways. He emphasized the importance of this Independence Day as a milestone in our journey of progress during the Amrit Kaal, the period leading up to the centenary of our Independence.
Amitabh highlighted the impressive achievements and infrastructural developmental activities taken over the Division and read the message of the General Manager, East Coast Railway on the occasion. The celebration was attended by Senior Divisional Officers and staff. The event also showcased cultural performances by the Divisional Cultural Association, staff, and RPF including the Dog show. In recognition of their contributions, DRM Singhal gave presentations to the performers and organizers who made the celebration a grand success.
