Paralakhemundi:When whole world sink in Covid-19, there arrived those emerging women who unitedly came from their door curtain to think of vulnerable sections of society. Among the team members of leading women group Akankhya dashed to Ranipentha. Perhaps after gap of monsoon rain coveted farmers & daily wage earners to involve on cultivation. At Ranipentha in an agriculture field those members met those wage earners engaged on seedling plantation & tied Raakhee also marked sindoor & offered sweet on traditional event to them. That brought all smile to those daily earners. Their happiness excited by those women affection for them to tie Raakhee & brought great recognition.Says President of Akankhya Asalata Panigrahi, “We could bring smile among those wage earners on a different way that could relax their hard labour on cultivable field. On family to tie Raakhee no doubt our routine work but we could stimulate rare smile among those hard earners at least their families could bring smile by seeing raakhee”.Among others Dr. Kalyani Mishra, Mina Kumari Tahal, Mamata Padhi, Swarnaprabha Pathi,Vice President Anita Misra, Alaka Sahu were present who also helped on rooting those seedlings.They have a great memory to remember on this Raakhee Purnima to support vulnerable sections, says Dr. Kalyani Mishra, Adviser of Akankhya organization.
