RAID BY DRUG INSPECTORs’ON MEDICINE STORES IN BERHAMPUR

BRAHMAPUR: On Thursday raid is being conducted jointly by the Drug Inspectors of Berhampur, Chatrapur and Bhanjanagar at Aska road and other places in city.

The team snowed under on Medicine Store and they raided  around 8/9 medicine stores in Berhampur which  are under the scanner as per their intelligence input.

According to source, the team checked the expiry dates of stored medicines also their purchase and sales details. They collected some costly medicine samples and many Drugs which are too sent for laboratory test.

This time Corona to a jinx which happens to siphon ignored customers from their pockets.

Notably sometimes ignores are pulled to buy expired medicines which they suffer.

Many stores are selling some restricted drugs without the prescriptions of Physicians to purchase which implies to a statutory warning.

Raid indeed need of hours to warn such medicine stores. Drug Inspector made the enforcement on Medicine Store Action yet to be framed against the guilty firm’s even possibility of cancellation of their licence which can’t be ruled out.

However further sources revel that this will be a continuous process to visit all the retail and wholesale depot as instructed by the Collector, Ganjam.
