Puri: The Shree Jagannath Temple administration in Puri has exposed a fraudulent scheme involving fake websites deceiving devotees in the name of Bhakta Nivas accommodation bookings.
Following the discovery, the temple’s Chief Administrator, Arabinda Padhee, has urged the Director General of the Crime Branch to initiate legal action against those responsible.
In his letter to the police, Padhee clarified that bookings for Bhakta Nivas are processed only through the temple’s official websites – www.shreejagannatha.in and www.stayatpurijagannatha.in. However, fraudsters have set up fake sites to mislead devotees and extract money under false pretenses.
