Pulse Polio Program at Gajapati
Paralakhemundi-At district headquarter of Gajapati national pulse polio program launched at maternity & child health centre. Coordinated by PRO Netrananda Satpathy, CDMO Dr. Pradip Kumar Patra inaugurated the program. He advised to parents on all safety & care of every child to build polio free nation.
Among others DMO Dr. Pramod Kumar Panda, ADPHO Dr. Mahendra Kumar Bhuyan, ADPHO Dr. Indira Mahapatra, District Health Information Officer Nayana Mallick, DMRCH Pranati Sahu & Sipra Bal of UNFPO attended.
On every junction, vulnerable areas & other communication areas polio drops given. Target for 67,729 children below 5 years where at 574 centres responsible staff engaged. Besides that 20 mobile units too expanded with 30 transit teams. Those who deprived on Sunday will be covered on door to door surveillance.
