Public Opinion Why “Mask “is Mandatory (?).

JAJPUR: After introduction of second Lahar of Covid-19 in state and Govt of Odisha released awareness SoP for Safety of Life and appeal to use of Maks and to maintain social distancing. But it seems at some places publics are reacting and irritated when Police humbly requesting to use Mask as mandatory. We have interacted with three different professionals and what they said;
Subhakanta Samal (Social Worker,Bhubaneswar):We should obey the current Covid guidelines and assist our State Police. If we use masks next we can avoid the Covid spread, so Public should be well alert in this regard and Police should be friendly and they should aware to all community.It need to be followed PPP concept, means “Police Public Politeness”
Mantu Das (DivyangaSocial activists ,Jajpur):-Rather than giving punishment firstly police should awered the violator’s then if found repetition should be punished. I have seen ADM of Rourkela requested the Public they should always bring Rs 2000/- in pocket if found without mask towards their fines. What a message she has given .So if Police will do this type of activities then I am sure no one can find without mask and there is no controversies again developed.
Parthasarathi Barik (Educationist):-Since the pandemic Covid is working it’s havoc in our state as well as in our country, we must be be cautious and always wear Mask. By using Mask, we can be able to avoid Covid infection.The role of Police in this crucial time is lofty. They should be friendly to the public.In some parts of our country, controversy between police and public regarding wearing mask is being seen on TV screen and National News Papers. It isn’t fare. But in our State Odisha Police behaves quite gentle other than 2/3 instances by the sub staffs. If we obey the guidelines why we shall allow to Police will behave rude to public (?). Wise to be friendly with public. Otherwise it will create an unusual situation.
