Public Against Uproot to Oldest Tree

Paralakhemundi-For small drain construction NAC Kashinagar decided to uproot the 150 years oldest tree, but due to public demand that stopped. Since last May NAC administration started evacuation on encroachment at Kashinagar, but not any work started for drain.

For the sake of drain the administration planned to uproot oldest tree. So bus stand area people stood against such plan. Further without action of Range Officer they demanded to stop such action.

As since above 50 years or more rituals of Lord Trinath is going on under the tree. Birds too have their nest & even that tree has power to resist heavy cyclone too. So public demanded to keep away from such abrupt plan to destroy the tree
