Protest by Women’s Congress, Koraput demanding the resignation of Minister of State Didyashakar Mishra

Koraput, Oct 21: The much-hyped Mamita Meher murder case has sparked a backlash in Koraput.  The Koraput District Women’s Congress has demanded that Justice Minister Divyashankar Mishra’s resignation and justice be done to Mamita’s family.

The Koraput District Women’s Congress staged a protest in front of the SP’s office.  It was also attended by officials from the Congress and the Youth Congress.  The Congress has said it will continue to fight until justice is done.  Namita Majhi, Member of Parliament Babula Benia, Legislative Candidate Krishna Kuldeep, City Congress Committee President Jayant Kachim, Block Congress Committee President Ramesh Bakhya, Committee Member Sunita Gadba, Former Councilor Chandraprabha Hial, Former Pattangi Block President Bimala Pangi.
