PROPOSAL OF GLOBAL PEACE FOUNDATION ON ONE NATION, ONE ELECTION

Jajpur:One Nation, One Election is an excellent and appropriate proposal by Prime Minister Modi Ji at this critical juncture of our country.This country can efficiently save thousands of crores rupees from organizing several by-elections and frequent state level elections during that  five years. The question of By-Election during that term of five years could be completely avoided.

 A merit-based waiting list of candidates is to be prepared depending upon the result of the election to fulfil any vacancy if created. Party less Politics, Party less Elections, and Party less Government Formation should be Framed  for the smooth administration of the country making it free from political party-based corruption, political instability, social insecurity, and party-based groupisms.

Furthermore, this proposal suggests that national leaders, including the President of the country, Vice President, Prime Minister, Lok Sabha Speaker, and all Ministers, should be elected directly by all eligible voters across the country.

Similarly, leaders at the state level, such as State Governors, Assembly Speakers, Chief Ministers, and all State Ministers, should also be chosen through direct voting of their respective state’s electorate.

 Members of Parliament (MPs) and Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs), however, would continue to be elected by the voters within their respective constituencies. All the MPs will act as opposition members in the Parliament and participate in the discussions and debates to pass the bills presented by the respective ministers. All the MLAs will similarly participate as opposition members in the state assemblies to pass the bills in the Assemblies after discussions and debates.

In this system of government, the Prime Minister and Chief Ministers will be unable to remove the elected ministers at their sweet will.In this system of government, there will be no need of any  political party which have no constructive roll in the progress of our country.

This proposal needs adequate discussion and debate in the joint parliament to amend the constitution In this regard and save the future of our country. In this situation, Rajya Sabha carries no importance in the parliamentary system.This system may bring a miraculous change in the government system, and our country will progress faster.
