Properties of PEO raid by Vigilance In Bargarh

Sambalpur:On the allegation of acquisition and possession of disproportionate assets by Sri Umesh Kumar Seth, Panchayat Executive Officer, Kelendapali G.P. and I/c P.E.O. Keseipali G.P.under Bhatli Block, Dist-Bargarh his (1) residential house of located at Keshabnagar W.No.1, Bargarh Town, Dist- Bargarh, (2) parental house of located at Launsara,Dist-Bargarh and (3) office chamber located at Kelendapali G.P. under Bhatli Block, Dist-Bargarh and (4) office chamber located at Keseipali G.P. under Bhatli Block, Dist-Bargarh were simultaneously searched on Monday (25.01.2021) by the Officers of Vigilance Sambalpur Division, Sambalpur on the strength of Search Warrants issued by the Special Judge, Vigilance, Sambalpur to find out assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
During the search, the following movable and immovable assets found in possession of Sri Umesh Kumar Seth, Panchayat Executive Officer, Kelendapali G.P. and I/c P.E.O. Keseipali G.P. under Bhatli Block, Dist-Bargarh in his name and in the name of his family members traced so far are as follows:-
Immovable assets like one triple storied building, and 08 nos. of plots at Bargarh worth of Rs.99,46,456.00.Besides the above, movable assets like, costly household articles, furnitures, electrical/electronic gadgets, gold and silver ornaments, 3 nos. of Motor Cycle worth Rs.10,71,200.00 deposits in different Banks Rs.7,92,043.00 Hard Cash of Rs. 16,700.00 etc. have been detected.
The total movable and immovable assets so far detected during house search is calculated at Rs. 1,18,26,399.00 (One Crore Eigthteen Lakhs twenty six Thousand Three Hundred Ninety Nine) only approximately. The documents relating to assets, income and expenditure taken charge during house search are under scrutiny.
