Professional Ganja Peddler Caught in Police net.

BERHAMPUR:On Wednesday morning at 6.30 AM when Sub Inspector Bhasat Ranjan Ray of Badabazar P.S along with Police staff were on patrolling duty near OM Nagar, Digapahandi Road detected one motor cycle rider named Jakuba Bira(20) of village,Anugur, under RUdayagiri police limit of Gajapati carrying a backpack bag contraband Ganja and smuggling in his Hero CD Dawn Motor Cycle bearing Registration number OR-18-A-3653.
According to Additional SP, Berhampur in his press note he was smuggling the Ganja from Mohana area under Gajapati District to Berhampur. Total 10 Kgs 250 Gms of contraband Ganja have been recovered and seized from his possession.
In this Connection Badabazar police registered a case U/s 20(b)(ii)(B)/25 NDPS Act. And the accused Jakuba Bira has been arrested and forwarded to court. Inspector Prasant Bhupati, IIC Badabazar P.S is investigating into depth of the the case and the investigation is continuing said ASP.
