Paralakhemundi- A poverty stricken family supported by district administration on their child’s higher studies. Named Priyanka Majhi belongs to Nalaghat of Rajpur of Mohana block of Gajapati district, with difficulties completed HSC. Now she continued her +2 Science & studying at Navajyoti Higher Secondary School at Bhubaneswar. Daughter of Somnath Majhi,who is a poor farmer & almost hand to mouth on his livings. With her 2 brothers,who are studying at nearest college,Priyanka is aspiring to be a doctor to build her career by completing MBBS & serve to poor.
Because belongs to poor family she well studied situation under poverty. So on a special occasion Collector Gajapati Smrutiranjan Pradhan presented her a cheque of Rs. 50000 & wished her to complete her mission. Among others SO Swathy S. Kumar, ADM(Revenue)Birendra Kumar Das,DWO Mamatarani Parida & other district officials were present.
