Power Sale Agreement signed between NTPC and GRIDCO

Bhubaneswar: Power Sale Agreement (PSA) was signed between NTPC Limited, A Maharatna Public Sector, and GRIDCO Limited. Umakant Sahoo, Director, GRIDCO Limited and Subodh Kumar Pradhan, Additional General Manager, Commercial NTPC ER2-HQ, signed the agreement in the presence of Nikunja Bihari Dhal, Principal Secretary, Energy, Government of Odisha, Trilochan Panda, Managing Director, GRIDCO and Amiya Kumar Parhi, General Manager (Engg) NTPC ER2-HQ.
Under this agreement, NTPC, a Government of India Undertaking, has agreed to sell and make available to GRIDCO 200 MW of solar power. A similar PSA was signed between NTPC and GRIDCO on April 18, 2022 for 200 MW. With this, NTPC will supply 400 MW solar energy under this developer mode to GRIDCO.
